Caloblock is operated by Ofri Cohen ("Caloblock", "we", "our", or "us"). This Policy applies to the Caloblock mobile application, legal pages, support channels, and any related services that link to this Policy.
2. Information We Collect
Account information
When you create or access an account using email, Google Sign-In, or Apple Sign-In, we may collect your name, email address, authentication provider identifier, user ID, profile image where provided by the sign-in provider, and account status information. When users sign in with Google, we only access the information necessary for authentication, such as name, email address, and profile image. We do not access Gmail, Google Drive, Google Photos, or other Google services unless explicitly disclosed and authorized.
User-provided content
Caloblock may allow you to submit food photos, meal descriptions, calorie-related inputs, nutrition preferences, fitness-related inputs, workout information, app-blocking preferences, and support messages.
Camera and device permissions
Camera access is used only when you choose to capture or upload food-related images for analysis. Device permissions may also be requested to support app-blocking, productivity, notifications, security, and core application functionality.
App blocking information
Caloblock provides productivity and application management features, including the ability to restrict access to selected applications. To provide these features, Caloblock may process app-blocking preferences, selected applications, permissions status, device configuration information, and related settings needed to operate app-blocking functionality.
Subscription information
Caloblock may offer monthly and yearly premium subscription plans. We may receive subscription status, product identifier, renewal status, cancellation status, transaction metadata, and entitlement information from Apple App Store or Google Play. We do not collect or store payment card numbers.
3. How We Use Information
- Create, authenticate, and manage user accounts
- Provide calorie estimates, food analysis, fitness insights, workout suggestions, and app-blocking functionality
- Operate premium subscriptions and verify access to paid features
- Process user-submitted photos, text, and fitness inputs through AI-powered systems

4. Supabase and Data Storage
Caloblock may use Supabase and other infrastructure providers to provide authentication, database storage, account management, secure backend functionality, and related application services. Information stored through Supabase may include account identifiers, email addresses, profile data, app settings, submitted content, subscription status, and other data required to operate the app.
Data may be stored, processed, or transmitted in locations where our service providers operate, subject to their technical, contractual, and organizational safeguards.
5. AI Processing and Important Disclaimers
Caloblock uses AI-powered technologies to analyze user-provided content and generate calorie estimates, food analysis, nutritional insights, fitness recommendations, workout suggestions, and related outputs. User-submitted content, including photos and text, may be transmitted to AI service providers for processing and generation of responses.
AI processing may be required to provide calorie estimation, food analysis, workout recommendations, fitness insights, and other AI-powered features. AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, or incorrect.
Caloblock is not a medical service and does not provide medical, dietary, nutritional, fitness, healthcare, or other professional advice. Calorie estimates are approximations only. Users must independently verify important information before acting on it.
6. Health, Allergy, Food Safety, and Fitness Responsibility
Caloblock cannot guarantee the accuracy of ingredient identification, allergen detection, food recognition, calorie calculations, nutritional information, workout suggestions, or AI-generated recommendations. You are solely responsible for verifying ingredients, allergens, food safety information, nutritional suitability, exercise routines, and health-related decisions.
Caloblock is not responsible for allergic reactions, food-related incidents, medical complications, injuries, illnesses, exercise-related incidents, inaccurate AI outputs, or decisions made based on app content. You should consult qualified healthcare professionals before making health, nutrition, diet, fitness, or lifestyle decisions.
7. Third-Party Services
Caloblock may rely on third-party services, including Supabase, Apple, Google, AI infrastructure providers, analytics or diagnostics tools, hosting providers, and customer support tools. These providers may process information as necessary to provide authentication, storage, purchases, AI analysis, diagnostics, security, and support.
Your use of Apple App Store, Google Play, Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, and other third-party services may also be governed by those providers' own terms and privacy policies.
8. Subscriptions and Payments
Premium subscriptions may be offered through monthly and yearly plans. Prices are displayed in the app and may vary by region. Payment is charged through your Apple App Store or Google Play account at the time of purchase. Subscriptions automatically renew unless canceled before the end of the current billing period.
You may manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds, if available, are governed by the policies of the platform through which the purchase was made. We may modify subscription pricing, features, or offerings subject to applicable laws and platform requirements.
9. Security and Data Protection
We use reasonable technical, administrative, and organizational measures designed to protect user information against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, and disclosure. These measures may include authentication controls, provider security features, access restrictions, encrypted transport, and monitoring for misuse.
No method of transmission, storage, or processing is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that the application, systems, AI features, app-blocking functionality, or supporting infrastructure will be uninterrupted, error-free, or immune from unauthorized access.
10. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain accounts, support subscriptions, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, improve security, and operate Caloblock. Data associated with an account is generally deleted within 30 days of account deletion unless retention is required or permitted by law, billing obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, backups, or legitimate operational needs.
Some information may be retained in backups, logs, transaction records, or security records for a limited period where required for legal, security, compliance, accounting, or operational purposes.
11. Your Data Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection regarding certain personal information. You may also have the right to withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

12. GDPR and EEA User Rights
For users located in the European Economic Area (EEA), we process personal data based on one or more of the following legal grounds: performance of a contract, legitimate interests, compliance with legal obligations, and user consent where required.
EEA users may have the right of access, right of rectification, right of deletion, right to restrict processing, right to data portability, and right to object to processing, subject to applicable legal limitations and verification requirements.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw that consent at any time. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before withdrawal.
13. Account Deletion
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data from within the Profile section of the Caloblock app where available, or by contacting us at cohenofri09@gmail.com.
Account deletion is intended to be permanent and may delete authentication records and associated user data, subject to technical limitations and legal, security, fraud-prevention, billing, or compliance requirements. Deleting your Caloblock account does not automatically cancel an active Apple App Store or Google Play subscription; subscriptions must be managed through the platform account settings.
14. Age Requirement and Children's Privacy
Caloblock is intended for users who meet the minimum age required by applicable law and platform rules. If you are under the age required to use online services in your location, you may not use Caloblock unless permitted by applicable law and, where required, with appropriate parental or guardian consent.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children where parental consent is required. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, please contact us so we can take appropriate action.
15. International Users
If you access Caloblock from outside the country where our service providers operate, your information may be transferred to, stored in, or processed in other jurisdictions. Privacy laws in those jurisdictions may differ from those in your location.
16. Updates to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, platform rules, or business practices. Updated versions will be posted in the app or on our legal pages. Continued use of Caloblock after an update means you acknowledge the revised Policy.
